I spoke with fitbit support today as my ionic stopped receiving text msgs and calendar notifications from my phone. I was told, there is an issue with the latest iphone update 11.1.1 that has caused this problem . Support stated the developers are working on it and I was given a ticket # for this. If you are having this problem it may just be a matter of waiting it out until the developers can sort out the problem.

Just as an FYI: After talking with support and fiddling with some iphone settings and the fitbit app, (of course I can't exactly remember what we did) Im receiving text notifications again. Awesome.

@Patty_123 Great to hear that you are receiving notifications again.
For anyone else who is having trouble receiving notifications, I would suggest that you follow each of the steps in the article, here.
If you are running iOS 11, I would make sure that your "Show In History" option is toggled on. You can find this setting by navigating to the following: General Settings > Notifications > Messages > 'Show In History'
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
