Is fitbit Ionic compatible with the BlackBerry Priv?

I have a charge HR 2 and thinking of getting the fitbit ionic.  Currently some of the blackberry priv notifications work with charge HR (sms texts don't work) but just wanted to check compatible before i purchase. thanks

Hi @Turns,

Fitbit maintains a device compatibility list, but I don't see your device on it. The only available platforms are iOS, Windows and Android.

Not that someone might have been able to get it to work, but it's not something Fitbit could provide support for.

I have a BlackBerry KEYone and it works flawlessly.  My wife has a BlackBerry PRIV and her Blaze works on it also flawlessly.

No it is not - I have a blackberry priv and the new ionic watch the watch will not talk to the phone

Thanks mikee. Does that mean no notifications come through at all as currently get calls, what's ap come through on charge HR so would give the ionic a miss if nothing comes through. Thanks for your help!!

I got my ionic today and it would not pair with my BackBerry Priv

Yep it will not work with PRIV - pretty stupid not to support blackberry since we are now android

I'm a first time fitbit owner and my Ionic doesn't like my BlackBerry KEYone either.

Don't ask me how I did iy, but I was able to sync my BlackBerry Priv to my ionic.....maybe because the Priv is an Android?

If you have a desktop with Windows 10 buy a fitbit Bluetooth dongle and synch through wifi

This is very strange.  I have a KEYone and the Ionic works flawlessly with it.

Sorry, but I do not know. Not very techie smart. Just tried a bunch of things and it paired. Still can't get music!

I have a Blackberry Priv with the fitbit Ionic and it pairs with my phone without issue. And I get notifications as well. Fitbit pay also works great and no issues with loading music.

hi there, I have just bought the ionic and also have a blackberry PRIV but it doesn't seem to be able to set up properly. Can you provide me some advice?

I had the same problem but somehow, I was able to sync my BB Priv and my Ionic. Unfortunately I do not remember how I did it. Trying going to Play Store and installing the Fitbit app.

Hi there, thank you for responding. I have already downloaded the app. It finds the device (ionic) but then fails to connect. I spoke to the advice team for fitbit and the person told me my phone is not compatible but I have searched a lot and so many people have said it works.
