Is there a different way to transfer music to Ionic?

I don't remember it being this difficult last time...

I only wanted to add a FEW songs to each playlist.

But for some reason, it felt the need to delete what I already had on the device because "the folder couldn't be located"

Do I need to make new folders on my HDD just in case this happens again?

Why is transferring so slow? I keep getting connection errors.

Is there any other way to do this without wifi?

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @GrahamWellingto.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ionic.

Currently, to download playlists to your Watch, you need a computer with a Wi-Fi connection and the free Fitbit Connect app.

Please keep in mind the following:

- To download music and podcasts to your Ionic, you need to create at least 1 playlist of songs or podcasts in iTunes or Windows Media Player.

- You can store over 300 songs and podcasts on your watch depending on the file sizes

Older songs may not transfer due to copyright protections (known as DRM encryption).

- The music and podcast file types you can download to your watch are the following:

  • MP3 files
  • MP4 files with AAC audio
  • WMA files

Please make sure to follow the instructions in this article in the menu "How do I download playlists to my Fitbit watch?".

Hope this helps.
