Just bought an ionic - insists on updating firmware - doesn't work

Hey good morning guys,

 

I just got an ionic and am trying to get it set up...I seem to be getting stuck on actually getting it to download and update it's firmware which it says it is supposed to do.

 

Is this a common problem?

 

I've tried now on two different networks which I'm positive are actually connected to the internet, and I DID enter the password correctly.

 

It asked me to switch to bluetooth which I have done and now it seems to be hanging and just...idk what it is doing.

 

I'm thinking this is probably a common issue, but I'd be interested to know if anybody has any advice?

Nevermind guys, I think I finally got it to work.  It seemed to fail several times and I'm not sure as to why...but I just kept redoing it and eventually it looks like it worked.

 

idk.
