Lack of banking options in the uk

FIRSTLY to the moderators DONT MOVE THIS POST to the versa stream as ionic users and people thinking of getting an ionic in the uk need to know that there are very few options in the uk ..

4 to be precise! And that the only high street bank is Santander. The other 3 are online providers that I've never heard of , compare that to the USA and there's an endless list, I contacted support about this and here's their reply:

'We highly appreciate your Feedback about the bank availability, make sure that you can raise your voice in our Community and vote for other's post with similar requests'.

Really positive and helpful they are definitely working on it aren't they!!!(or maybe not!??)so anyone who would like to use the wallet contact support and vote on my post see if we can get them to listen.

I wonder how much appetite there is for banks wanting to sign-up to Fitbit Pay when Google are in the process of buying Fitbit and they have their own payment system!

That's a very interesting point and of course they wont admit to that , maybe a future app will be google pay?

That's my hope. If Fitbit switched to Google Pay the banks are already there
