This latest update actually plugs a lot of the problems I saw with my Ionic as an early adopter. Lots of new (and useful) apps, lots of new watchfaces that are usable. It seems to make the installing of apps a tad more reliable (I have installed 4 and they all installed on the first try - none of this trying multiple times just to download it to the watch) and, honestly, it seems like the data syncing is better.
All in all, this kind of made a lot of the complaints I had about the Ionic go away.
Here's the bad stuff - the updates takes a LONG time. For some reason it would not connect over wifi so I had to update it over bluetooth and that took about 8 hours. I actually just let it go while I was asleep so maybe it took less - I noticed it was done at 3am this morning (Started at 7pm last night) so let's give it the benefit of the doubt and say it took 6 hours. That's longer than a full install of Windows or Linux or OSX... And you can't tell me it's bigger than those OS's.
The Sleep Apnea functionality is still not there. That bugs me. I can see the sensor is physically in place - Fitbit, you gotta get this going.
Other than those two problems, I have not seen anything to complain about on this update.

Have you experienced any sync issues yet? There's another thread on it, but it appears that with the update, the syncing has gotten much worse.
One issue I've seen posted and have experienced has been improve: screen wake on lifting wrist is much more responsive.

If anything, I have found that the syncing got better. Before this update there were times when the watch simply would not sync regardless of what I did. So far that has not happened after the update at all.
