Limited heart rate measuring when running

Hi,

I started using Ionic in May this year. I love the watch, the app, and heart rate works fine when not exercising. But when I am running the heart rate is not at the right level, it stays at too low level until half-way running and then suddenly jumps to right  level. I have another heart rate measure as well (which I'd like to stop using to rely fully on the Ionic), that shows my real heart rate, so I can see the difference.

Is there anything I should do to get a better connect? I tried to wear it in different ways but that hasn't helped so far. Please advise.

kind regards

Alexander, Norway

It's great to see you around @Gusalex. Thanks for the details mentioned and for trying to wear it in different ways.

I'm glad you're enjoying your Ionic. I would like you to make sure you're following these tips to improve your heart-rate reading on your Fitbit device

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Silvia Fitbit, thanks for your kind message. I had already read these suggestions, but tried it once more. Unfortunately the same happened. See attached screenshot from a typical heartrate pattern via my fitbit watch: it clearly shows where the fitbit is not accurately measuring the heart rate. I do not understand what happens, it seems not to disconnect but unable to measure correctly.

Thanks for getting back @Gusalex. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I appreciate the screenshot shared. It seems that the activity you're tracking is treadmill. Can you double check that all your treadmill activities are showing the same information? Also, please restart your Ionic and continue monitoring the data you're getting.

Keep me posted.
