My husband has had his Ionic for 5 days, constantly losing connection. I have had my Charge 2 for the same time with no issues.
He has to turn bluetooth off then on to re-establish sync connection. He is seriously considering returning the device.
Game Golf GPS rangefinder just comes up with a blank white screen.
Any advice please regarding these two problems.

This is so severe I would consider talking to fitbit support.
I can try to help you though.
1. Delete the Ionic from bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off all day sync.
3. Turn on all day sync.
4. Try Again.
5. Doesn’t work? Shutdown and restart by holding left and bottom right buttons.
6(Last Resort) Factory Reset
7. Talk to customer support.

@Kaypooh Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing the situation your husband is experiencing with his Ionic's connection and apps. I'm also glad to hear that your Charge 2 is working properly.
What kind of mobile device is he using? Please make sure it is listed under the supported devices list.
Tell him to perform a restart on his Ionic. This should also help him out. Also, try turning off Bluetooth, wait 10 seconds, and turning it back on.
Additionally, please let your husband try the suggestions made by @supersmart01234 as that could help him too.
Regarding the Game Golf GPS Rangefinder app; is this happening when you access its settings for some reason? If this is the situation, please check this post for further details.
If the app is crashing, check this post and thread for more details on that.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you, he has now contacted customer support. His Huawei doesnt support Fitbit, and the golf app has issues. He can work around the bluetooth issue by turning it on and off a couple of times till it syncs. I got a feeling there may be a new phone in the near future as he is really pleased with the Ionic and fitbit app.

@Kaypooh Thanks for your reply and for providing all of that information. Thanks for contacting customer support regarding this and for informing us about the non compatible mobile device and the Golf App issues.
I'm glad to hear that your husband is really pleased with Ionic. It is an awesome device. If a new phone (compatible one) is coming towards your husband soon that would be great to be able to use all of the Ionic features and apps with no problem.
Let me know if you need more help. Keep me posted!
