I have owned Fitbit products for the past 3.5 years and other than water taking out 2 of the devices I have not had any major issues. I thought I would upgrade and got the Ionic for Christmas. I had no issues for 2 months. After that it has gone down hill. End of February it stopped connecting to my device. I didn't think anything of it, until my battery life plummeted. It went from 4 to 5 days between charging to just over 24 hrs of battery life. Basically it has become worthless since then, and it rarely gets off my shelf. I finally have found time to try to get the watch working again and have tried resetting the device. It will only "find it" but not connect to it. I have attempted all of the solutions that Fitbit gives, but I still cant get past the setup screen. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

I'm glad to hear that you got it working and now it's charging. However, you're still unable to pair it to your account. I would like you to confirm that you've tried the steps mentioned in this article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?.
Regarding the battery issue that you're experiencing, please confirm that you restarted it and fully charged it.
If you're still unable to set it up your watch, please let me know which mobile device you're using to connect your Ionic?
