Recently bought a Fitbit Ionic. Don't even think I had it for a month. Didn't realize the strap would just pop off the side. I mean it looks like a regular watch strap and you even fit the size to your wrist. Well I went for a swim in the lake and the stupid strap just pops off on the side. So now I have no watch. Seems like a pretty poor strap design for such an expensive watch. I'm so upset with this. Just spent almost $400 on it and now I have no watch because of this bad strap.

@HayamiJ Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting the situation you experienced with Ionic while swimming. It's unfortunate to read that it got lost at the lake.
I went ahead and created a case with customer support in your behalf. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for next steps.
Keep me posted!

The same thing just happen to me when I was swimming in a lake with my Versa 3. I did contact the support team twice and was told, too bad, your problem. I guess I just will go back to Samsung Watches because my old S2 never fell off while swimming. I Fitbit watch bands are defective and it's a shame they won't stand by their products. I mean, swimming is an activity listed for the Versa 3 and you can't do that without risking losing it.

Hi @Grs2218 three identical posts in four minutes - cross posting is discouraged on these forums. The original post here was August 22, 2018 - a few years back and the person never returned so we don't know what happened. It's hard to know what happened to your Versa 3, but customer support gave you an answer. Sorry you're not happy.

Fitbit ending up making this right by sending me a replacement watch. I would still not recommend swimming with the watch on expect for maybe in a pool where you could easily find it if it falls off.
