Hello, @Muttbunch82.
Welcome to the Fitbit Community - Ionic Division.
Currently, there is no way to see max speed, just average speed on the Ionic(that I know of)
Thanks for visiting the community!

Hello @Muttbunch82, it's good to see you around in the Community forums, welcome.
As it was mentioned previously, the max speed information is not available at the moment for the Ionic or any other device, and for the Fitbit app. I noticed this idea is in "Not currently planned" status in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, however, I do recommend that you vote for the idea and add your comments, since this sis always helpful to attract more attention from the team of developers.
I hope this helps.

“is there an app to link to or will the ionic get the capability to track max speed and not just pace”
Hmm? You want max speed. Here is how you can get it off the inbuilt Ionic Exercise Bike App.
1 Link your Ionic to the Strava App on board. You may need to set up a Strava account if you do not have one already.
2 In exercises on the Ionic choose “Bike” and start and hit finish when done your football training or game.
3 Go to the Strava App online or mobile and your max speed will show up based on GPS tracking in “View Analysis” -> “Speed” -> “Max Speed”.
Try it. It works. Do this for biking and skiing all the time. Works a charm. But is a sneaky roundabout trick -> as not many have figured out GPS data is GPS data. You can source it in mph from Strava.
BTW same applies to pace for running. Can get average and fastest split/mi.

Yeah look specifically under “View Analysis”.
You can also change the exercise type in Strava to extract different info as well.

Thank you for this information @Whistler888, connecting with other third party apps is a great idea as well!

Hi Davide.
The integration with Strava in particular was key for me. Sometimes will get GPS data from my Ionic and phone -> then compare them to one another. This way GPS data can be validated.
Interestingly the Ionic GPS data is not as bad as some report.

Absolutely @Whistler888, I've also found Strava integration to be very useful.

I was Also looking for this on my ionic since i love tracking my max during my runs.
I can only see pace when i have a run exercise but if I go to the app and change the exercise category to bike I can see the avg. max. min. and a speed chart.
Hope this works for you too!
