Multiple Issues with my Fitbit Ionic

I bought this fitbit ionic about 6 months ago and at te moment its just a piece of junk with a whole load of issues I cant resolve . I am using the app with a samsung 6 , here are the issues

 

1. Theres a firmware update that needs to be dont but I just cant get it to happen, it will first try over bluetooth which always fails and then suggests wifi but thats no good because the app cant find my wifi but there isnt a problem with my wifi because my phone and laptop and ps4 cant detect it no problem. 

 

2.Other issues include , the exercise app doesnt work . When it tap it , it just resets . I cant get into the **ahem** thing . And I constantly get clock error where I have to select a new clock which will work for a while but fails soon after giving me the clock error message. Its beyond a joke at this stage , tempted to throw the **ahem** thing into the bin and get a smart watch from a different company .

Thanks for sharing all of those details on the issues you are not experiencing. Let me help you figure out what is happening. I will be moving this thread to the Ionic board as I think it is better suited for it.

 

In regards to the update, the situation with the WiFi could be related to the type of connection. You can click here to read more about it.

 

On the reset when trying to access the exercise app, when did this start happening?  What does the clock face error message say? 

 

In the meantime I'd recommend that you try to restart your Fitbit. Perhaps that will help with the exercise app and the error message.
