Music files not appearing in finder to add to folder

Hi guys.

I have read all the posts on adding music before posting this.

1. I have rebooted all and reconnected with WIFI.

2. I have followed ERICKFITBITS tips...didn't work.

I am getting to this point..

1. On my mac, the window pops up to add a folder.

2. I select the itunes folder and press add (it only have one MP3 play list in it, a dj set..so not very big)

3. Then nothing happens and I get a warning saying "couldn't sync because your ionic is discinneted (but it isn't...it is waiting to transfer files)

I discovered that if the music file is not actually in my itunes folder, the music will not transfer to my Ionic.
