Music from iTunes is protected

I'm not sure who owns music anymore as just about everyone I know just pays a subscription and streams it, playlists are made and enjoyed.  Soon as I tried to add a playlist to the Ionic all the songs were protected and unable to sync to watch from iTunes.

So I tried Amazon music, same deal, all protected unless owned.

Are we ever going to be able to put our 'subscribed' playlists onto the ionic?

Hi @Chris_10,

I'm one of the odd ones who buys music still. Music distribution is so fractured since streaming services came into play. It's gotten very complicated.

As of now, Pandora is the only supported streaming service with the Ionic. None of us know when others will be added.

As far as I know, Apple stopped putting DRM on their music years ago. Did you purchase this music some time ago?
