Hi all,

 

i have loaded music onto my ionic via wifi and found when I linked them to my goodmans earphones, the music playback was around 1.5x faster and very crackly.  I then played my music through a blaupunkt bluetooth speaker and all is fine; no crackling and normal speed.

 

Why is this?  I bought an ionic so I could track my exercise and listen to music independently from my phone.  The quality of the audio is that bad through my earphones I can’t go for a run and listen to it.  Any advice please?  Is it the brand of earphones I have?  Is this a common issue?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that your device is playing music in such way. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Ionic following the next steps:

 

  1. For Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?
