@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for trying to sort this out. I just want to confirm if you did all of the possible steps to set them up correctly:
- Check if your phone is under the list of supported devices.
- Make sure it is not on "Do not Disturb" mode.
- Update the Fitbit App to its latest version (2.66).
- Make sure you turn on Notifications on the Ionic itself (Swipe right to bring up the shortcuts screen and turn on Notifications).
Then try the following:
hen, try the following troubleshooting steps for notifications:
- Force quit the Fitbit App and re open it to sync your Fitbit device. Notifications should work after syncing. If nothing, continue...
- Turn off Bluetooth, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on. Notifications should work, if not continue...
- Restart your Ionic.
If after doing that notifications are still not working, try refreshing them:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > your device image.
- Tap "Notifications".
- Turn off all notifications
- Restart your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on.
- Sync your Ionic. Notifications should work afterwards.
If still nothing, try setting the notifications once again:
- Tell your phone to "forget" your device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device:
- On your phone, go to "Settings > Bluetooth" and find your Fitbit device in the list.
- Find an option to forget the device.
- Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again.
They should definitely work at this point! Please check this helpful article for more details about this.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!
