My Fitbit Iconic looks like it has been highjacked. How do i verify this is legitimate?

I woke up to a message my clock face had 'an error' and i had to reload s new clock face.  When I tried to do so, there does not seem to be a default clock face anymore. All of the ones listed require me to deal with one of two or more 'developers'.  As i started to process this i realized this is looking like a low level ransomware attack.  How do i validate these dealers are legit and I'm not going to have my Fitbit hijacked again?

There should be several standard clock faces listed "by Fitbit" to choose from when you go to 'Clock Faces' on your app.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
