Last night, my ionic unexpectedly ran out of battery. I plugged it in straight away. Now it won't stay on. The watch keeps restarting itself.
I've tried changing the clock-face, but that doesn't seem to have made any difference. I've tried various clock-faces, all of them are FitBit developed.
I can't get to the factory reset option as the watch doesn't stay on long enough to access the menu.
Any other ideas?

Hello @Footix and welcome! Before you go through the Factory Reset, lets see if a quick soft Reset will work. Here is how: Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons together, until the Fitbit icon appears, then release.
Please advise and thanks!

Hi
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! 🙂
Tried that, but it still seems to be stuck in the same loop 😞

Hello @Footix , lets try the Factory Reset. Here are the steps you'll need to follow. You need to hold ALL three buttons down at the same time and than "AFTER" 12 seconds release the bottom right button. If you do it properly, you will feel your Ionic vibrate after releasing the bottom right button. The timing can get tricky, so you may want to attempt this a couple times, if you do NOT succeed on the first try.
Please advise and thanks!

I've tried this a few times, but it doesn't seem to be working.
The watch doesn't stay on long enough to allow the reset? I hold down the 3 buttons, but the watch restarts itself before it gets chance to vibrate or acknowledge the reset?

@Footix , so to clarify, while you are holding down ALL three buttons, the Ionic continues to cycle (on & off)? Please advise, thanks!

Correct, nothing I do seems to stop the restarting cycle. 😞

@Footix , well I have to confess, this is not something that happens often! When did you purchase your Ionic? Please advise, thanks!

I guess it was about 18 months ago? Just before Christmas.
It's been working fantastically for me since then, right up to last night.
Luckily, I'd synced the 2 workouts I'd done before it started having the issue! 😉
