Anyone else have this issue?
Ive had my Ionic for just over a year...about 13 months. Plugged it in to charge last night and everything was just fine.
Woke up this morning, took it off the charger and everything was just fine. Did some work on the computer for about an hour, tried to check the time and the display was not on.
Plugged it back in. Nothing. Plugged it into my desktop...nothing. Tried the "left button and bottom right button" reset...nothing.
Contacted Fitbit chat and they told me that it is out of warranty because it's over a year old and they cannot replace it. But they could give me a coupon for 40%. yay...that's what I want. To buy another one...this way in a year, it breaks again. Plus I have to go through the issues of setting it up again and getting it to sync with my iPhone.
ANYONE know of any way to get this thing to fire up again!!???
IF not, Fitbit has lost me as a customer. For this cost, I'll just buy a dang Apple Watch.

Welcome to Fitbit you didn’t buy our flag ship device you merely rented it, and as a bonus we threw in the flaws for free.
Remember be positive as there is nothing wrong around here.

Mine just did this today! Did you ever get yours working again? Mine is probably about a year and a half old or so.

Sadly, I had this issue last week and went back and forth with Fitbit support. It was some kind of firmware/software update that they pushed to our devices, but they are refusing to admit it and even more disturbing is that they are not fixing it unless you are within their warranty period (mine hit the 13th month mark). Too bad, because the Ionic is/was a great device and it's only because of the update 😞 They lost me as a customer (who had 2 other fitbits as well) and I just bought a different brand tracker yesterday. I hope they will step up and fix your devices. I was lucky because I had a protection plan on mine and got something else. Again...great product, lousy update and customer service response!

The exact same thing happened to me! I had my fitbit for about 15 months when all of a sudden out of nowhere the screen shut off and never came back on! Literally broke my heart! I loved my Ionic! Fitbit told me the same thing..out of warranty but we can give you a 40% off coupon on a new ionic. I'm so hurt by this, I'm also leaving fitbit and going to check out Garmin. I never thought I would ever be so disappointed by fitbit!

Same thing here. Except they only offered me a 25% discount. I loved it while it worked but now time to move on...glad I didn't buy their stock now, practices like these they will tank.
