My Ionic has to charge in less than 24 hrs

even before update last month, my Ionic would only last about 20 - 23 hours. i have only had it less than 10 months/

Would it happen to have coincided with applying the latest firmware update perchance? Seems to be a common compliant looking through the forums. Fitbit has gone to ground on the issue, preferring not to acknowledge there's a problem! Hardly surprising, they have form for responding this way from my experience when reporting hardware/software faults.
