Does anybody have an ionic that lasted more than 2 years? I don't think so. I bought an ionic in March 2019 and 9 months later, the battery went completely dead. Fortunately, I had 3 months left for warranty replacement. So, I got a new ionic and now 1 year later, the battery went dead again. Do you think I should purchase another fitbit ever again? Fool me once, fool me twice, jingle all the way. I restored my bricked ionic dignity by showing them off as expensive Xmas tree ornaments.
Let this be an unscientific survey. If your ionic lasted over 2 years, I consider it a jewel. Otherwise, it's a dud.

@simwind, I have an Ionic that is older than 2 years, and still fully functional. I got it when the Ionic was first released, and it is still origional.

I wonder what percentage of Ionics out there are duds.
Unfortunately, there is no way to know that. Of the millions of devices sold, you will see a number of complaints about problems, but what percentage of devices is that? No way of knowing if that is 1%, or 5%, or 10%, or what percentage.
