Morning
I have experienced the same now. From yesterday, my Ionic has done the same. I have followed your prompts "Put it on charge. Then restart the Ionic by pressing the left hand and right bottom buttons until the logo comes up (if it doesnt come up, keep pressed for 15 seconds), then wait 5 minutes (leaving it on the charger) and repeat the restart. Do this a few times and see if the screen comes to life".
Subsequently, I still have it on charge through my computer but still nothing, hence the reason as per your below suggestion to contact your support, namely yourself, Helen | Western Australia: "If it doesn't you will need to contact support - link in my signature. Let us know how you go."
Please advise by return,
Shalom,

Restart with left button and right bottom button seems to be working for me. I think I am good to go. 🙂

mine is not charging. I keep having this problem. I’ve cleaned the contacts numerous times and rebooted it. Nothing is working this time. I give up. Ordered an Apple Watch even though I love the ionic other than the darn charging issue. This happened with my last Fitbit, too, and Fitbit gave me a good discount on the Ionic to get me to stay with them.

The reset try below worked for me, I was about to rage at Fitbit but it popped back to life! I'll see how it goes from now on 🤞

This worked for me, thank you. I am curious though because this has happened more than once. Does anyone know why it does this or what causes it??

It works. Thank you so much. I'll keep this in mind. Life saver. I cannot be without my Ionic baby.

I tried the reset suggested and this failed but when I reset after plugging into my computer it started to charge. Never had this charging problem before. Thanks for the great advice.

It had been on the charger for 24 hours. Blank. Used your solution. Got the Fitbit logo. Checked it 5 minutes later and the indicator shows 100% charged! So, it must have charged but wouldn't come back on until I restarted it! As usual "rebooting" is the #1 solution.

My ionic is not charging and I have tried all of the advice on this board. I just get the 0% no matter what I do... Please help or provide a link with instructions on how to send it in for repair. Thank you!

Check the gold charging contacts. If there is a tiny black dot in the middle of the contacts, it will no longer charge. If it is less than a year old Fitbit will replace it. If it is older than a year old you can try to put a dot of soldier on the black spot (hard to do, worked once I got another year).
