My Ionic is syncing but can't see my sleep

I do my daily sync each morning but my sleeping hasn't updated or won't sync for the last week and a half. Everything else shows up. How do I get my sleep to sync?

I'll be glad to give you a hand with your Fitbit Ionic that is not tracking your sleep. Thanks for confirming that your Fitbit Ionic is currently syncing. This is not a normal behavior, but please try to restart your Ionic.

 

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

 

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

My sleep log has stopped for the last 3 days. My battery is charged and it is properly fitted around my wrist. I never had any problems tracking my sleep before 3 days ago. I have manually added my sleep to my dashboard but do not gain tracking of the sleep cycles I am going through

I called customer support and they had me restart my fitbit and my sleeping is syncing once again. Mine was stopped for 10 days. Push and hold the back button (button on the left side) and the bottom button for about 15 seconds and once you see the fitbit logo come on your screen let go.  Did this yesterday and it showed up working this morning.
