My Ionic’s button fell off and it won’t turn on

The top right button fell off on my Ionic. I walk home so I didn’t notice until I got home that it was missing. I contacted Fitbit customer service right away expecting them to be able to give me a new button or fix it (because this shouldn’t happen and seems like a manufacture error) but all they could do was give me a discount on my next purchase since my warranty is over. I love my watch since I workout a lot but I’m bummed that all I got was a discount. Now it won’t even turn on! I’ve tried everything and it just randomly crapped out on me last night. Would love to buy another one but they’re expensive and I don’t want to risk it breaking after warranty again. Any help would be great on what I should do.

I don't see that you really have any options other than to buy a new tracker. A discount is just Fitbit trying to keep a customer happy after a tracker has broken and the warranty has expired. It is not something that is required.
