This is support's answer for everything.
Unfortunately, it seldomly fixes the problem.

Zoey, don't listen to the naysayer. Give my suggestion a try and you might be pleasantly surprised.

@IONICOWNER you have several responses in your own thread - click to go there - where a moderator has contacted you with some questions. You should go there and let him assist you.

Hi @zoeyherman your post was moved back to your original thread. It's easier if each user posts to their own thread so all the relevant information for that user is in one location. Sorry that you're having problems. I've notified a moderator to stop by to assist you. Did you try the suggestion from @SunsetRunner ?

@zoeyherman Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I regret to hear that your Fitbit Ionic stopped calculating and registering your heart rate. Thank you for letting us know that you have performed a restart to your watch.
If you haven't done it already, please go to your watch Settings and turn the heart rate off and then turn it back on. If this doesn't help, you can perform a factory reset to your watch by following the next steps, but keep in mind that your apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards and saved settings will be deleted from the device:
On your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data.
@IONICOWNER Thanks for your comments. I noticed that you've been in touch with Customer Support recently. If after following their instructions you are still experiencing difficulties, please update them in order to get further assistance.
@SunsetRunner @Odyssey13 Thanks for your support.
Please let me know if you have any question.
