My Ionic stopped syncing to my Iphone 7

I've had my Fitbit ionic a little over a year and use it daily for my fitness and health goals. It often goes through periods where it will not sync to my iPhone 7 meaning all my data on my watch is not tracked and transferred onto my mobile device. I have struggled with this problem before and have completed all the factory resets and removing the ionic from the Fitbit app and starting again, but the issue keeps re-occurring. It works fine for 7-10 days or so then it wont sync my data to my phone. I frequently use my phones Bluetooth for headphones, speakers, my car etc and don't have connection issues with any of these, it is just my ionic.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Accepted Solutions

I have no active data on my Iphone Fitbit App due to not being able to sync my ionic, no steps, no sleep tracking nothing. My watch alone is still tracking and functioning correctly is just the syncing part which I need to use!!

I’m having problems also. I have iPhone SE though. My Fitbit hasn’t fully synced in 2 days. It will only sync my steps. It’s also able to measure my heart rate, but it’s not recording my resting heart rate data or my sleep. Are you having these problems too?

Go to settings on your ionic. Scroll down and click “about”. There should be a “factory reset” option.
