My Ionic stopped working

Ionic screen is blank and black. The battery was fully charged before it stopped working. None of the buttons have any effect. I've tried the left button only, the bottom right button only, the top right button only, both right buttons, and all thee buttons. Nothing has worked and the screen remains blank and black. It appears to be completely dead. Connecting it to the charger has no effect. This is a shame as my Ionic worked well up until a couple of weeks ago.
