My Ionic won't pair to my device

My fitbit ionic wont pair to my device. It says that I has either been reported missing or something with the warranty. It was given to me by a co worker. Thank you

The Ionic has been voluntarily recalled https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/Voluntary-Safety-Recall-of-Fitbit-Ionic-Smartwatches/m-p/50880...

I'm not sure exactly how that works but if your co-worker claimed a refund on the recall, I expect it might have been disabled.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
