My Swim Pro no tloading

Hi Guys!

 

Got a new Ionic for my birthday Saturday and really excited! I swim quite a lot so downloaded the my swim pro app.

 

But unfortunately the app won't load. It keeps saying loading on the watch. I've checked the app on my phone and all is well. I've tried deleting the app, re-syncing the watch and reinstalling it but nothing. I have also tried powering the watch off but it still says the same thing. I've left it overnight and it still says loading. Looking online I can't find that anyone else has had the same issue. I've also contacted the app directly for advice and am waiting for a response.

 

I have successfully downloaded the the calculator and flashlight app so I don't think it's the watch. The only other app I have had an issue with is the Asken diet app which appears to not work in the UK as I can't create an account.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not sure if your unable to install the app on the Ionic or if it will not run once installed?

Hi there. I have installed it on the ionic. But when I click it it just constantly says loading and won't run. As per my message, I have contacted the app owner but have not had a response yet.

I have the same problem,  i received my watch today and am very excited to use it for my sole prose of swim training.

I've loaded Myswimpro app onto the watch,  but it says 'loading...'.

Since 4 hrs!

It is frustrating. I have contracted the app developer and they are looking into it as they’ve never encountered it before. I took a screenshot of the watch so they could see what was happening.

I also wrote to them last night.  They haven't answered me yet.  Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

I received an email from my swim pro and they have fixed the issue. A new version has been submitted to Fitbit for review. Hopefully it will be approved in a few days.

Same here. I gave up. I am not sure where the bug is or whether it was fixed. Did you figure out how to download it since? Looks like it could be a great application once it works! I could use it for my current challenge.

Hi. I've been using MySwimPro for a few weeks using the WoD which has updated each day.

 

Today I've been unable to access the session and been asked to enter a verification code in the phone app. I've done this but am now unable to load the session? Anyone else had this? Or is it that a premium subscription is now required?

@NickWllson I'm having the same issue and am in touch with the developer but no fix yet.   I haven't been able to use the app in 4 days.   Good to know I'm not the only one with the issue!  Hopefully,  it gets fixed soon and I'll report back on the outcome.

Glad it's not just me! I used it on Monday and it was fine and have also been in touch with devs so will post when I hear something.

 

Great app otherwise. I was lost without it. Actually had to think this morning....!

I tried getting this download on my Iconic a few months ago when it was
just announced. Never happened. Sounds pretty buggy.

We recently made an update to our Fitbit app so that our Community Members have access to more workouts, similar to our other wearable apps. Moving forward, you have access to our free MySwimPro app. This includes a selection of free workouts, training videos and swim logging tools. If you'd like to unlock the Workout of the Day, Training Plans and more workouts, those are now part of the Premium Subscription on the Fitbit. We've been offering the WOD on the Fitbit due to limited capabilities of other functionalities on the watch, but now that the update is out, we have to align our subscription packages across all devices. Thanks for your reply.   Once I see that the free app works as intended,  I will definitely consider upgrading to premium. At this time,  it doesn't load at all so I'm not comfortable upgrading.

@NickWIlson Have you had any success with app improvements?  It seems that when one thing gets fixed, something else goes wrong.   Now, it just jumps through the reps without counting down at all.  I have manually pause the workout and use the timer at the pool.

Well, now that you ask.....!

 

It had been fine up until today.

 

The workout set off ok but then had a mind of its own midway through....

 

Hopefully, a quick and easy fix...

Exactly! Some days it works and others it does not.  Heard back from the developers and the issue is being addressed.
