My Ionic gave out yesterday. The screen is dark and when resetting, you can see a small light on right side. Still syncs to app, but no screen.
I have called Fitbit about doing something all I have been offered is a 35% discount towards some older watches. Not even the ionic. Really disappointed in this as I was saving up towards the sense.
What else is the competition offering these days? Been an avid fitbit since the beginning. I think Amazon is releasing a tracker soon as well

You are not alone.
This is the Fitbit default response to any faulty device out of its warranty, even if Fitbit are at fault they do not accept responsibility.
You either stick with the brand, she’ll put a loads of cash on a new Fitbit and hope that the new devices are more robust and reliable, or you look at other brands.

Yes, it is really disappointing!
At least offer a discount to an improved version.
Thank you for letting me know that I am not the only one.
Thanks Fitbit for the Outstanding Customer Service.

There are lots of people in this situation, all very unhappy and disappointed with Fitbit.
What’s worse though is the silence from Fitbit.

Yes, it would be nice if someone from Fitbit would respond and address the affected

Sadly I think we are just being ignored and they hope we will just go away, or buy new devices instead.

@MyLIVY @Dinzarelli A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Support team and the option you were given.
I wanted to confirm that our team reviews each case individually and the option provided is based in the Fitbit Warranty. The Fitbit Ionic is no longer sold in the Fitbit Store and this is why the discount doesn't apply to this watch.
If you have any questions about the discount you were provided, please reply to the case that you have with our Support team because they have access to your case details.
Thank you for your understanding. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Got a better response, but no change. Was told to contact sales to see if they could do something. Systems are not working and get thru to sales. They asked to call back later.
Ill try later

@MyLIVY you've been offered a 35% discount and beyond customer support and the moderator @SilviaFitbit who replied, explained the warranty policy. There is no where else to go.

It is a discount on older watches. Why would i want to downgrade in terms of tech??

The discount is for current devices, but not the newest releases. Still quite an assortment of Fitbits to choose from.

Yes, if you want to downgrade. That isn't really a good option in my opinion
I wouldn't mind waiting till some of the newer ones released

Fitbit should at least allow for discount on like for like. With Versa 3 seemingly taking the place of the Ionic, they should at least allow for the discount to apply to this watch.
Gone are the days when the Charge HR was no longer offered and Fitbit would allow you to use the discount on the Charge 2.

@Odyssey13 Going from a Ionic to anything on offer is not great. Only the Charge 4 offers GPS but it's not as decent as the Ionic.
