My experience with Ionic

I had a problem with my fitbit and when I wished to voice my displeasure my post was removed. The point is this forum doesn't really allow for a dissenting point of view. The fact is this I have had three fitbits that never lasted more than 2 years. This doesn't make me happy because if the product was a well made product I wouldn't be writing this post. I have basically paid over $400 in fitbit products over the last four years and not one of them is working today, My main problem is with the same answer over and over again and that is "we're sorry about your fitbit, unfortunately, it is out of warranty and your only option is to buy another one."  That doesn't sit well with me. I can understand if one fitbit for whatever reason doesn't last  two years, and maybe even two but three fitbits die within two years?  That tells me that the fitbits are designed poorly and meant to  last only two years and the objective is to have customer's keep upgrading and buying "new" and more expensive fitbits.  This post should be allowed to be seen and not flagged, I am merely stating my experience.

I have also had the same experience with my FitBit Ionic.  My first Ionic died at 20 months. Purchased my 2nd Ionic Sept 2019.  It went haywire after the last update July 15 and is still not usable.  I don’t understand why a FIX hasn’t been pushed...poor service I guess...as there has been no mention of a solution coming in the near future.  I just received my Apple iWatch Series 5 and couldn’t be happier.  I suppose if a FIX comes For the Ionic,  I could theoretically have 2 trackers that work, but for now I’m VERY happy with my Apple.  AND, their support is exceptional!
