My fitbit has stopped accurately tracking my steps, sleep, miles, and minutes

My fitbit has stopped tracking steps, sleep, miles, and minutes.  It sinks and where I should have about 14,000 steps it says I have 117.  The same problem for my miles and minutes.  Calories seem to show accurately and not sure about floors.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, resynched the device and reset the fitbit ionic.  The innacurate data shows on the fitbit screen as well.  Only been used for about 8 months and it is way too early for a $300 device to be failing!  It is syncing to my iPhone 8 fine but appears to not be working properly itself.

I’m very disappointed with the Ionic.  I had a Blaze for about 3 years and I had it synced with both my iPhone and my ipad.  This Ionic has never come up on my ipad.

I’m ready to get a refund.

I agree, my Fitbit keeps giving me steps even when I am not wearing it.  Annoying!!  I reset the entire watch, but it is still doing it.  I am ready to go back to using a TomTom watch.  Never had problems like this.
