When exercising in cold Norway long sleeves and gloves are needed, but the friction between the clothing an the ionic surface causes ionic to randomly turn exercises on and off. This leads to no viable records for my winter training. Any advice as how to deal with this?
Thank you.

Had the same issue yesterday during a boxing workout. What worked for me in the past with other trackers / watches with a touchscreen is wearing it on the inside of the wrist. Will try this the next workout and post the result here.

I have tried wearing a sweat band (like the one tennis players or squash players use) to cover the clock face during training, thus avoiding interference from clothing. Mostly it works fine, but not always. I still think the opportunity to lock the touch screen should be available if the Ionic is to be considered a "real" training clock.
