My workout and sleep are not syncing with my app so losing my data

@Anthony2382 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Are you still experiencing this? How are you tracking your activities? 

 

I'd recommend performing a restart on your Ionic. That should help when your watch is not syncing data.

 

If you want to recover the data that wasn't synced those days you can always manually log both sleep and exercises:

I'm having the same issue with my workouts. It's not an overall sync issue as steps are syncing. In my case sleep does sync just not my workouts. While yes I can track it manually that kinda defeats the benefits.

This is not the first post I have seen with this specific issue not general sync issues. All the basic things have been done: restart of both devices. Unpaired/paired. Any other suggestions or fixes that have been found?

I am having the same issue. I just bought my ionic last week and the first couple of days everything worked great. Then I stopped getting texts and I fixed it by resetting everything. This morning it did not sync my activity from last night or my sleep data. I've tried resetting everything and still having the same issues.

After i removed the device from my fitbit app and did a factor reset of my ionic an coupled it again then Everything worked again for me... Hope it works for you also. Attention : you will lose the data that isnt synced sonde the last time.

I Got a question for Everything that has troubles. Do you synching your data with external apps? Like life connect?

Last night I talked on chat with support for a long time and we cycled through all available options, finally I had to factory reset it to get it working again. I lost all of yesterday's data but it is working again as of this morning. Apparently when I purchased my ionic on Friday the firmware update did not go through and that was the reason for all of the issues. The support agent confirmed that this time the firmware update did go through. So here's to hoping my issues are solved! The chat support was great and I recommend using it if you're having trouble!
