Need help with connecting the wristband

I was really excited to get my Fitbit ionic for Christmas but I have had to return 3 different ones due to poor quality manufacturing. The first one didn’t log steps or heart rate. The second straps didn’t click in place so was constantly falling off, and the same with the third. I like the product and would like to use it but it’s really frustrating having to return them constantly! Surely there should be quality control on products to ensure this doesn’t happen? I haven’t even had a chance to use the features on it!

It’s a real frustration and disappointment to have to keep going back and forth until I get one that actually works.

A warm welcome to the Community @Stevensannem! I'm sorry for the issues you've had with your Ionic trackers. Your feedback is truly appreciated as Fitbit is always trying to improve its trackers and the features that are implemented on them.

I would like to continue assisting you, so you can use your Ionic. Do you still have issues with putting the wristband and the pebble? Do you have a case created with our Support team?

Keep me posted.

I had a lot of trouble getting the wristband to re-engage after removing it. You really need to push it HARD to get it to click into place. I was pushing hard enough that I worried it was going to break, but once it clicked (and the little release button popped back out) it was fine.
