I have spent over 4 hours trying to figure out why i can't upload music onto my watch. First It took forever for my windows fitbit program to find my watch. Over 15 min each time. That is ridiculous! Second I find out that you need either windows media player or itunes after 3 hours of trying to figure out why my music doesn't show up in the fitbit app on windows even though they are mp3's . Now the next issue is that some files are not uploading for one reason or another to my watch. I have 39 songs and only 30 are uploading. I bet its some issue with the watch not reading discrepencies in files if they are not perfect mp3's .

Actually, I know from experience you don't need to use windows media player or itunes. Any media player that can generate playlists in WPM or M3U will work.
The music itself never shows up in the app, so that's normal. It's necessary to create the playlists, then those show up in the list, and the music in the playlist gets transferred. You can't transfer files without a playlist.
You might want to check out the stickied Transferring Music thread, which outlines the steps.
It's possible that a corrupt music file isn't being read right. If you can play the same file in a media player, I'm not sure that's it. Some people have had trouble loading large podcasts and concerts. How big are the files that aren't uploading?
