Need to buy used phone to sync my Ionic Fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After 6 months of perfect operations my Fitbit IONIC stopped working entirely with my Android HTC u11 plus phone. I wasted 2 weeks of contacting support. Fitbit has no interest in helping. No interest in explaining why the sync worked but now doesn't. Basically left me holding an expensive disfunctional wrist computer.

I've come to rely on my IONIC and feel the loss of it so I think the next best thing to do is to buy a used compatible phone just for sync purposes. (Even my last gen phone is not on their list!)

Can anyone recommend as inexpensive as possible, reliable android pone that I can buy on ebay for just this use please?

Thank you in advance for the community's help.

Marcie

Hi @LadySteele18 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's nice to see you again participating in our Community Forums.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us the experience you had with our Customer Support team, the feedback is appreciated. Please note that since your HTC U11+ is not a supported mobile device with our products and services, we cannot ensure a proper performance of your Ionic features. Even though your device is not compatible, if you haven't already done so, please take a look to our help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. I recommend you to check our list of compatible devices to make a purchase decision in case your device doesn't sync after the troubleshooting steps are completed.

Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.
