Just brought a new Fitbit on sale.
But not able to complete the calibration. Keep saying there an error. Have already remove the strap and place the watch on a flat surface, but was still given the error message.
So far the GPS is not working (unable to track any distance during running), and the step counter is definitely faulty (less than 400 steps recorded after the whole day).
Any advise?
Have tried to do a reset by pressing the 2 or 3 buttons on the watch, but that doesn't solve the issue.

I would return it for exchange. You should not have to "fix" a brand new tracker.

Return it and buy a different brand product. I had my Ionic replaced after going swimming for the first time. They had to replace it. it was one month before the 1-year warranty ended. now that it has been about a half year later it just bricked after a firmware update attempt. They say it was not the firmware update but my watch became defective at the specific time. No repair but offered me 25% discount on a new one. LOL Hopefully Google will do a better job managing their products.
