New Ionic, connection to Bluetooth on iphone 7plus

Has anyone experience this situation or have any idea what I need to do to get this fitb t going?  It's fully charged and all I see on the ionic is a scroll of various languages and it never stops

Do you have a Fitbit account and the app set up on your iPhone? Are you logged in? Just tap in the upper left of the dashboard on that little icon (tap in the corner anyway if you don't see it and on the next screen (account screen) you should see an option to add a new device or a +. Follow the directions from there.

I do have an account, however I removed my Fitbit Blaze and powered it off.

I don't see the icon in the upper left hand corner you mentioned. It was there when I have the Blaze connected.

I've tapped the corner and nothing happens.

I think I've got it working now.  It' in the set up mode and have about 14 minutes left downloading.
