I just replaced my ionic after my 2.5 year old ionic's battery died. My new ionic arrived and is all charged up and working. However it is running an old firmware version but I do not get the option to update the firmware. Anyway I can force this process forward (my old ionic was updated to the latest firmware).

Your title seems to be a little misleading @SPGmd you are saying that you are not being offered the latest version. Your only option is to contact Fitbit.

Rich not sure why you thought my title was misleading, but sorry.
I have contacted Fitbit and I guess the firmware is still rolling out so their answer was "just wait."

The update gets posted to the Fitbit app, then loaded onto the ionic.
The ionic will the receive the update. It will not be seen by the ionic until you start the update process.
