There are some good guides on the Ionic's online help page at https://help.fitbit.com/?p=ionic
Perhaps the best place to start is the manual. There's a link to it on that page or you can get there direct via https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_ionic_en_US.pdf

OMG...thanks so much for posting that (link to the manual). I gave my b.f. the Ionic for Christmas...he got frustrated and gave up. Now I have it. I was able to sync some things and not others. I still do not have a "face" on it and some other things. But I can still track my steps, calories burned, get the wake-up, and track my 250 steps every hour...so far so good...but I need more. I'll print out the manual and do it step by step. Why, oh why don't they just don't include the manual with purchase!!

Thank you for posting the link to the manual - i hadn't seen that before, it will be super helpful. I am still having trouble connecting to wifi - despite having a very strong signal in my home. Any suggestions?

It can only use the 2,4 ghz band with not 5 ghz. Once I connected to the 2,4 ghz it worked right away.

You have to change watch face from mobile app. Also connect the watch to wifi.
