New clock face not showing accurate stats?

Hey guys.  Just got an Ionic, and put a new clock face on it.  The stats it’s showing for some reason aren’t accurate.  I’ve logged 4,000 steps so far today, but the face shows 50.  Does it just show stats since I changed the face?

It depends very much how the clockface has been coded. 

My feeling is that it displays the steps per hour rather than cumulative steps per day.

Can you tell us the name of the clockface? I might be able to help you.

Haha thanks.  My favorite band 👍

 

well now now that it’s a new day it seem to be working fine.  It’s the RedStats face.  And the steps are being counted consistently.
