Hey there.... went for a 5k run this morning, was trying for a personal best. GPS worked when I started the run, and it has registered a distance of 3.28 miles. But in the fitbit dashboard, it is only showing as a workout, with no map. I tried downloading the tcx from fitbit to upload to strava, and the tcx file is empty.
Just wondering if this is a known issue with a workaround or some troubleshooting so I can avoid it happening again?
Not sure if it's related but I also note that every couple of days the notifications (e.g. phone messages etc.) stop working and require that I restart the ionic to kick them back into action. Not sure if there is some kind of memory / buffer that fills up and requires a restart to empty. Could this be related / cause my gps to not be recorded?
Thanks

I was wondering did you have any gps connection at all? I went for a walk yesterday and my gps hardly connected. I restarted my watch, no effect. And I have to restart my watch quite often. Used to work better than this.

Thanks for the reply @KarinvV . I must admit... I didn't check throughout the course of my run, but I purposefully didn't start my run until I saw that "connected" message appear. So I would expect there to be some GPS data somewhere... but the tcx file is completely bereft of any GPS.

Also strange... the fitbit console shows my heart rate data but no HR data in the tcx file either :-s it's all gone wrong this morning. Looks like it was a personal best as well 😞
