No elevation for hiking or MTB?

I have recently realized this device does not show elevation within an activity and not that external app.  Since it had GPS and i"m a hiker and mountain biker, that was one of the main reasons i got it.  I'm going to return this watch and get a Garmin unless anyone knows if an update is coming?

I have not seen any info on this feature but I put in a feature suggestion earlier today for the hiking side.

You can see the change in elevation on the web based map of your ride/walk/run

By MtB do you mean the Bike exercise? I sure the bike is biased completely toward road biking. FB really needs a separate Mountain Biking exercise.
