I'm using Ionic of fitbit. I recently bought Samsung Galaxy buds that is Bluetooth earpiece. and I'm trying to connect. I can see that the connection is normal, but I can't hear it. I'd like to make sure that this product is compatible.Who's using the Galaxy buds here? I want to listen to music.

Doesn't seem like fitbit has any leads on fixing the issue. They do not have a specific reason for why these buds have an issue. Some observations and found a hacky but consistent working solution.
Steps (in order) to connect and use perfectly (do it everytime the buds are disconnected)
If by any chance you still hear music breaking, put the first (left) bud back in the case, close the case wait a few secs before you hear no noise on the second (right) bud.
Note:
- Music controls from buds do not work.
- No other ways i've tried seems to work. Not sure if this is fitbit related issue specifically (but buds work normally with other devices)!
Reason (probably):
Galaxy buds don't work with master/slave. they have some sort of control using the charging case.
Something to do with connection handoff between buds/case, and fitbit bluetooth fails to make proper connections.
Samsung Galaxy buds (Bluetooth Version 5.0).
Fitbit Ionic (bluetooth version 4.0, works with all mp3, mp4 aac, wmv codecs)

Hello @jinobadi thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'd like to help you with your Ionic device and also give you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community!
Seems odd that your Samsung Galaxy Buds are connected to your Ionic device but you're unable to use them as designed, even though I don't own this specific earbuds, let me give you a hand with this. First, can you please let me know if you already tried using the buds with another device to check if they're working properly? Also, since they were connected to your Fitbit, meaning that the difficulties are not related with the connection as itself, I recommend you to remove them and connect them again. To do so, please check our help article: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch? and let me know how it goes.
Music makes everything better, please keep me posted if you need further assistance.

First of all, thank you for your answer. First, I updated the ionic to the latest version(27.33.1.30) and checked it again. and checked for compatibility with other Bluetooth earphones and laptops.
air pods of apple and QCY T1 TWS model. These models have been identified to work well.
Maybe it is a compatibility issue with Galaxy buds. is there a solution?
but i can't download any courses for 1hr over . i'm sending you the attached pictures. I'm under a lot of stress. help me plz~~

You're welcome @jinobadi thanks for your reply and the pictures that were attached on your post, I'm happy to continue assisting you. My sincere apologies for the delay in responding.
I appreciate your time and patience troubleshooting this situation and for taking in consideration the information that was previously posted, seems odd that your buds are not working with your Ionic device. Can you please let me know if you already restarted the Galaxy buds? I found the steps to do so here. After restarting your buds, I recommend you to restart your Fitbit device following the steps from our help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and then reconnect them with the steps that were provided on my previous post.
I'll be here looking to your reply if further assistance is needed.

I have the same issue with the Galaxy Buds and with the Airpod, I remove and add again multiple times, for Galaxy Buds, no sound, and for Airpod sound, but very loud and the volume control simple did not work. I follow all the proceedures informed in the other posts for Airpod, but nothing work. I purchase the Fitbit less than one week, moving for my old samsung gear, I am starting to be very disapointed with the change.

I have the same problems with Samsung Buds and my Ionic Fitbit watch. Other earbuds work with my Ionic, but not Samsung buds. Even though Samsung Buds work fine with all my other 4 devices. I think Fitbit watch must need a firmware upgrade. But only if Fitbit is aware of this problem.

I figure out a way to use the galaxy buds, remove only the right one for the charger box, and press the left one without remove from the charger box (press a bunch of times), than close the lid for the charger and open again, when you remove the left bud from the charger they will work (Crazy but work), but I continue with issues, because when both earplugs are on, there is a sound delay between left and right sound, I do not know what is worst. I GIVE UP, IONIC DOES NOT WORK with Samsung buds or Apple airpods, my view that IONIC is awful as a music player, as a clock is a good one.

I have the same problem. Connects (most of the time but not always) yet when connected ionic moves verrrrry slowly and pressing play on music takes a few tries. Once playing there is no sound at all. Same as everyone else the galaxy buds work fine on other devices. Such a shame :-(.
Keen to know if we might get an update that can fix this issue 😁..

It's time to adress this issue now Fitbit. There are multiple threads about this and only boilerplate responses from you.
1. Inform us about the reason for this issue.
2. Fix the issue with a firmware update.

Man, I did a ton of research on which ear buds to replace my old, cheapy ones and ended up deciding on the Galaxy Buds, just assuming they'd work with the Ionic. Silly me.
Where everyone here has a problem with playback, I can't even get mine to pair. I can see the buds when selecting '+Audio Device' from the Ionic's settings, but when I select the Galaxy Buds, it churns for a few seconds and always comes back with 'Connection Failed'.
I have tried unpairing the buds from my phone.
I have tried unpairing everything from the Ionic.
I have tried resetting the Ionic.
I have tried resetting the ear buds in Galaxy Wear app.
I have tried pairing the buds in their case.
I have tried pairing the buds in my ears (tap and hold both buds for 3 seconds).
Connection Failed.
Ionic version 27.68.9.15
Galaxy Buds version R170XXU0ASH2
Having music on my wrist, being able to leave the phone at home, was the main reason I chose Ionic in the first place. So frustrating.

Totally agree. Got ear buds for Christmas and looks like I am not alone. Ear buds pair but no sound. Unbelievable a Company the size of Fitbit, with what they charge for their devices can't test something like earbuds/air pods to make sure they work, and then take so long to provide a fix for the issue when they become aware of the issue.

This worked perfectly! Was pretty unsure I'd actually get anything out of my buds but that was nifty. Not sure how you got all that figured out but thanks for posting it!

I cant believe that actually worked. First how did someone actually come up with that and 2, why cant they get this to work without having to go through all of that.
