My Fitbit Ionic is working flawlessly except that it occasionally didn't show Notifications.. After a long debugging period, it turned that my one plus 3T, has 3 modes that it can be in

 

1: Silent

2: Do not Disturb

3: Normal

 

It the phone is in "Do not Disturb" mode, notifications will not be send to Ionic.

Unfortunately on my phone (Sony XA1 running Android 7.0) there is only "do not disturb" which can be on or off.  If do not disturb is off and the phone is on silent, it still vibrates.  There is no way to have the phone completely silent and to get notifications on the watch.
