After updating to 27.31.1.29 my Ionic canno sync to my Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Ionic is not available from my Samsung in the Bluetooth-list (Ionic Device cannot be chosen).
How can this be solved??

I'm having the exact same problem with the Samsung Note 8. Immediately after updating to 27.31.1.29 my phone seems to not see my Ionic.

I had the same problem on my S7. Finally got it to work.
Make sure app is updated.
Delete Ionic from account
Restart phone
Restart Ionic
Re-pair Ionic to phone/app
This took longer then it should, but finally I got the green check saying pairing complete.

Thanks a lot, @Rujoe9 ! I lost half of my sleep data but it's syncing now! It's a shame we have to do this. Hopefully this will be the last time.

I reported the same problem one day after receiving the updated firmware. With relative ease (viz., after 2-3 attempts), my ionic was successfully updated on my Samsung Galaxy S8. However, after the installation, it failed to sync to the S8 or my Win 10 computer. I got various troubleshooting messages, such as try Wi-Fi, then try Blue Tooth, repeat.
After twice performing the left button--bottom-right hold to reset, the Ionic was able to sync to both the Galaxy S8 and the Win 10 computer. I waited several days before writing to be sure the situation would not revert. The problem seems to be solved!

Solved! I turned the Ionic off and on. Now it works!
