After performing all of the previous restarts, log in, log out, reset, factory reset and just down loaded the latest firm wear 27.68915 my Ionic still will not receive text messaging as it once did before. Ionically...... it shows incoming cell phone calls to my Galaxy S10E..but not texts. It did perform somewhat flawlessly with the Oneplus6T. Any help or ideas...Thks

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting too. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Ionic are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

 

Keep in mind that the OnePlus 6T is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience connection difficulties with it.

I appreciate the help as it was the wrong text messenger was on for the notification on my Ionic watch with the Galaxy S10e

With that said now that I am receiving texts in Message + , the text come up as one message, you then have the option to read, reply etc. Once I enact the read button, the whole texts is erased without my reading it. I have rebooted both watch and cell phone and the same text option comes up

This is different then the previous cell phone I had ( Oneplus6T which I will say worked extremely well with the watch, very little issues) that the text body as a whole just showed, you then had the option to reply or erase but it was read right from the start.

So I am unsure if its the firmware update that changed the format or still yet another issues I have yet to solve.
