Notification issue still present?

Is anyone still having a notification issue with the ionic on android?

I got my ionic today and setup was fine, everything going great! But when the notification settings were setup I'm not getting any from any apps. It's allowed in the permissions on both the phone and app, and the test notification works when testing. I've reset and restarted both devices but nothing.

Any ideas?

Or will I have to wait for an update?

Is your phone set to do not disturb, or silent? Turns out that the Ionic only shows notifications when the phone isn't in these modes. That's done it, I never have my phone on loud though so seems abit silly and that needs addressing.

Hopefully you can get some feedback and get them to allow it on silent too.
