I am receiving notifications on my s8+, but I cannot fully read the emails, and the text message just says new text message (no name, nothing else).  I have logged out, back in.  unpaired. paired. what's up?  anyone else have this issue

Welcome to the Community @khensley. This normally resolves by doing the following: 

 

  1. Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.
  2. Go to "Settings."
  3. Click on "Notifications."
  4. Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Preview Message"

What app are you using for texting? Is it the default Messaging app?
